Around Mennonite Village and Albany Oregon Area

Village Grounds

Mennonite Village is located on 275 acres on the outskirts of Albany in the mid-Willamette Valley. Albany features historic houses, covered bridges, hot air balloons, antiques, shopping, a variety of restaurants, and more.

We’re fortunate to have three lakes and a creek on our property, along with grassy meadows, wooded oak groves, and views of the Cascades to the east and Mary's Peak and the Coast Range to the west. Our campus is home for an abundance of wild flowers and birds, including goldfinches, kestrels, and eagles.

Our Village campus is near Interstate-5 and Oregon Highways 34 and 20 that offer quick access to the cities of Portland, Eugene, Corvallis, Newport, Lebanon, and Bend. The Cascade Mountains and Pacific Ocean are also within short, 90-minute drives.

Living in the Willamette Valley

Residents who enjoy college athletics can root for the Oregon State University (OSU) Beavers in Corvallis and the University of Oregon
(U of O) Ducks in Eugene, among other local teams.

We have excellent health services providers in the area.

The climate here is temperate. It’s typically mild and wet in the winter with a few days of snow, and the spring, summer, and fall are glorious
