Hiring an In-Home Caregiver

“When choosing an agency, be sure to ask about what services are provided. Find out about the company. How long have they been in business? Are they with the Better Business Bureau? Check their references. Compare costs, services and features that they offer. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Remember, you are the client, and ultimately you must feel comfortable and confident with the caregiver’s services.” “My favorite part of working for Mennonite In Home Services is the emotional reward I get from serving clients. I took care of one client whose family was there the entire shift. They hugged me as I was leaving and told me how thankful they were to have someone come and take care of their family member. It made me tear up.”
