Established in 2013 as an endowed fund to provide aid to employees seeking a career in the field of medicine, specifically in the areas of direct care.
This fund is for employees seeking a nursing career. Originally available only to employees of Quail Run, our assisted living facility, in 2005 the Wallin family graciously extended the scope to include all employees of Mennonite Village.
The money in this fund is invested and the principle is not used. Each year a portion of the earnings is transferred to the Care Fund.
The Care Fund is used to provide assistance to residents of Mennonite Village who have outlived their finances.
Established to memorialize or honor a loved one. If the gift is not designated for a specific use, it will be used to benefit the campus community.
The Capital Fund receives gifts that will be used to pay for specific capital needs as approved by the Boards of Mennonite village and the Mennonite Village Foundation.
If you want to help continue our work, but can’t help right now, consider including a bequest to Mennonite Village in your will or living trust. It’s a safe way to ensure our future while looking out for yours. And it’s simple — we can give you the correct wording to use. Including a bequest of a percentage of your residual estate ensures your gift will remain proportionate to other percentage bequests in your estate.
You can help provide for the future of Mennonite Village with a gift in your will. Your gift will provide for residents long after you’re no longer here. You may receive some great benefits now, with your gift in the future. It’s pretty simple- give us a call and you can receive the answers needed to help provide for the future of Mennonite Village.
