Hiring an In-Home Caregiver
by Caregiver.com

"When choosing an agency, be sure to ask about what services are provided. Find out about the company. How long have they been in business? Are they with the Better Business Bureau? Check their references. Compare costs, services and features that they offer. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Remember, you are the client, and ultimately you must feel comfortable and confident with the caregiver’s services." Read more. »

"My favorite part of working for Mennonite In-Home Care is the emotional reward I get from serving clients. I took care of one client whose family was there the entire shift. They hugged me as I was leaving and told me how thankful they were to have someone come and take care of their family member. It made me tear up." Sarah Bertagna

"I could tell she felt safe and watched over. The caregivers cooked for her, encouraged her, and helped her in so many ways...She and I both appreciated how the caregivers respected her wishes."
—A Friend of a Client

“Mennonite In-Home Care can best be described as Flexible, Reliable and Comprehensive... I like having access to the in-home nurse. Not only does she visit our home regularly, but we have used her for advice by phone... I'm pleased at how the schedulers worked to match the caregivers with my wife’s age and interests.”
—Husband of Client

"The greatest part of working for Mennonite In-Home Care is going into a family's home for the first time, being welcomed with open arms, and knowing how much of a difference I can make for the family and their loved one(s)."
—April Hayes

"Working with Mennonite In-Home Care is a great choice for me. I've gotten a lot of nursing experience, which has prepared me for nursing school. I have a flexible schedule, clients who are incredibly funny and wise, and supervisors who are really supportive and willing to help."
—Ashley Yetter
